„Solitude leads to connection, grief leads to hope, hope is tinged with the ashes of loss. We cut up relationships and memories and try to piece things that have been torn away back together, as we walk through life and relationships.
These works deal with the space between loss and meaning, and the simul taneously existing truths of dark and light, what one might call „emotional dissonance.“ Buried under the soil, loss and hope exist in the same space; anger and love lie in temporary submission to how things now are. Things that are hidden, buried and suppressed, will be found, preserved under the layers for the one who looks. These are communal works, collaged and composed in silence and solitude, but with material echoes of relationships and conversations in the scraps and ideas employed.“
