Printing Specifications

Your ad must be submitted in PDF, EPS, TIF, or JPG format, and match the booked ad size. EPS files must have embedded fonts and images. TIF and JPG must have 300 dpi resolution. Only CMYK is accepted – no spot colors. Word, PowerPoint, or RGB formats are not allowed.

If XTRA! needs to create the ad (text, images, graphics, logos), a fee applies. All submitted materials must be at least 300 dpi and sent no later than 7 days before editorial deadline.

Submitting Print Files

Send print-ready ads via email to office@xtra-news.at or provide a download link. Late submissions must be announced by phone. Otherwise, the ad may not be included.

Ad Orders

Ad bookings are binding and confirmed in writing (size, price, frequency, placement). Discounts (e.g. agency discounts) are only valid with written agreement. Discounts expire after a second unpaid reminder and the full list price applies.

Placement & Placement Guarantee

Ads are placed based on layout availability unless a specific request is made. Placement requests (e.g. right-hand page) incur a 20% surcharge. Must be stated upon booking. Later complaints will not be accepted.

Volume Discounts

For multiple ads of the same size in consecutive issues:
– 3 ads: 10% discount
– 5 ads: 15% discount
– 7 ads: 20% discount
– 9 ads: 25% discount
